Zapping TV adds 4K channels and new features on its app

Chilean OTT pay TV Zapping TV has announced this last Tuesday, March 22nd, that it has made a series of updates on its app, which include new features available, such as the possibility of restarting a program that has already started; making catch up on a TV channel’s programming on up to 24 hours; and even reduce the quality of of a channel in case of having a bad internet connection and returning to watch programs through the ‘Replay’ feature.

In addition, the Zapping TV app is making new channels available in 4K, including Chilean TV channels such as TVN, Mega, Chilevision and Canal 13, as well as Warner Channel, History, H2, Star Channel and all ESPN channels.

The new features of the app are available on LG smart TVs and devices with the Android TV operative system. From the company they reported that the updates have not been released on Samsung smart TVs and Roku and Apple TV devices, although they announced that the new features will be available there gradually.

In addition to the new updates, Zapping TV has been adding new TV channels to its catalog, while it is looking for strategic partners to expand itself to other markets in Latin America.
