Colombian channel Win Sports+, pay TV channel Win Sport’s premium option, officially launched in Colombia in 2020, has officially announced this last Friday that, during June. it will strengthen its sports content catalog. On the international football side,, the channel will broadcast Copa America and UEFA Euro 2020 matches, while, locally, it will bring to its screen the Colombian Professional Football League (called ‘Liga BetPlay Dimayor) and the Categoria Primera B (called ‘Torneo BetPlay Dimayor’), the second most important football competition in the country.
‘We continue to join efforts to broadcast relevant football leagues on the Win Sports+ screen, guaranteeing the presence of great referents from international football; having as a historical event the broadcasts of the Colombian National Team for the first time on the channel; and, likewise, strengthening our support for Colombian football, which is at its most exciting step’, reported Jaime Parada, President at Win Sports.
According to the information detailed by the company, Win Sports + and Win Sports Online -Win Sport’s OTT platform-, will broadcast exclusively for Colombia 17 Copa América’s matches, including the first match of the competition, which will be started by Brazil and Venezuela, this coming Sunday June 13th in Brasilia; and the matches that Colombia will dispute against Ecuador (Cuiaba, Mato Grosso, Brazil); Venezuela (Goiânia, Goias, Brazil); Peru (Goiânia, Goias, Brazil); and Brazil (Engenho de Dentro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). During the last Nextv Series Andean’s virtual edition, which took place at the end of April, Gabriel Hernandez, Director of Digital Products at Win Sports, reported that, currently, live content represents between 90% and 95% of Win Sports Online’s content consumption.. The Win Sports+ screen will also offer the defining matches of Colombian football during June, with the definition of the Torneo BetPlay Dimayor and the Liga BetPlay Dimayor. On the international side, the premium channel will also broadcast the 28 most relevant matches of UEFA Euro 2020, whose first match is scheduled for this Friday, June 11th.
