As announced in late April, WarnerMedia officially launched HBO Max, its new SVOD OTT, on May 27th in the US. Although the company has not confirmed an official arrival date for the platform in Latin America, it could be launched in the region in 2021.

The monthly HBO Max subscription is valued at USD 14.99, and allows access to a 10 thousand-hour content catalog, which includes all HBO content, and the full catalog of WarnerMedia brands, such as Warner Bros. , New Line, DC Entertainment, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, The CW, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Crunchyroll, Rooster Teeth and Looney Tunes.

HBO Max will also be the exclusive home of Friends, as well as The Fresh Prince, Pretty Little Liars, and the DC series Batwoman and Katy Keen. The new OTT is also launched with new original productions, such as ‘Love Life’, ‘Dune: The Sisterhood’, ‘Tokyo Vice’, ‘The Flight Attendant’ and ‘Gremlins’.

In addition to the independent monthly subscription, US people can access HBO Max if they  have an HBO Now active subscription, or if they have hired the HBO channel on any AT&T pay TV service.
