WarnerMedia bolsters HBO Max launch with seven new distribution partners

Few days before launching its new SVOD OTT, HBO Max, WarnerMedia announced seven new distribution partners for the platform, including Altice USA, Cox Communications, Microsoft Corp, National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC), Samsung, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Verizon. Communications. The OTT will be officially launched this May 27th in the US. Up to now, the official arrival date of the platform in Latin America has not been confirmed.

‘The launch of HBO Max is an important milestone for our company, and we are excited that these valued partners will be on board for the launch’, said Rich Warren, President of WarnerMedia Distribution. ‘Through our expansive distribution pipeline, millions of customers will have immediate access to a best-in-class streaming experience come May 27th’, he added.

These companies join AT&T, Apple, Charter Communications, Google, Hulu and YouTube TV in offering HBO Max to their customers at launch.

HBO Max will debut with a 10 thousand hours curated content catalog, including new original series, films from across WarnerMedia’s library and third-party licensed programs and movies. HBO Max will be available at USD 14.99 per month.
