Warner Bros ITVP creates fiction department for Spain and Latin America

With the aim of strengthening its content in the fiction area on TV, Warner Bros. ITVP Spain created a new scripted department, led by Carolina Gonzalez as Fiction Content Director, and Clara Nieto as Business Director, who report to Sebastián Moguilevksy, CEO of the production company in Spain and Portugal.

The new scripted area is already working to provide content to channels and platforms in Spain and Latin America, as well as in the development of series in Spanish for the group’s platform, HBO Max, which will be launched in the US on May 27th. The project that will mean the debut of the new department is the creation and production of the series ‘En Casa’, for HBO Spain, together with Caballo Films, and soon to be released.

The area will be focused on generating original content, the adapting series and films from the Warner Bros. catalog, in addition ro the adaptation of third-party fictions or co-development projects, both in Spain and between Spain and Latin America. For example, there are agreements with Argentine producers Polka and Kapow for the development of joint fiction projects. The producer is also currently co-developing a project with Warner Bros. ITVP’s German and UK affiliates.
