Chilean telecommunications company VTR (Liberty Latin America) announced this Thursday that it has made a new update to its VOD platform for all its clients, and for free. They will be able to access their content by clicking on the VOD button on their remote controls.
As reported from VTR, the new version includes a profile specially designed for children, as well as a more attractive home screen, improvements in the quality content, search for movies and series by genre and the option to create favorite content lists. VTR reported that its customers will have a new menu available, that will allow them to easily access the different categories, and other functionalities.
Edwin Elberg, Senior Director Product Development, Entertainment and Connectivity at Liberty Latin America, reported that the new VOD was designed based on suggestions from VTR’s own customers and on best practices and market trends. ‘The new VOD is a complete change in the platform’s graphical interface, with which we aim to provide our customers with a better user experience and accessibility to their favorite content, especially in these times of social distancing, where we all spend more time in our homes and entertainment is essential’, explained the executive.
