Brazilian operator Vivo announced a new phase of its alliance with The Walt Disney Company and integrated Disney Plus content to its streaming platform, Vivo Play. From now on, subscribers will be able to search for all OTT series and movies directly from the app, and once the title is selected, it will redirect to the page of the other service.
As the company explained, this new step seeks to reinforce the company’s image as a digital services hub, by increasingly expanding the offer for its users, to which they constantly try to add new experiences beyond traditional telecommunications services.
In November of last year, Vivo made a first agreement with Disney Plus to include the OTT in its pay TV rate. Now, with the incorporation of the content to Vivo Play, the operator not only strengthened its alliance with the brand, but also considerably expanded its library of VoD and live channels, available to all its customers.
