Nuevatel‘s VIVA Bolivia operator announced that it will launch a new DTH service in conjunction with satellite provider TUVES, which will be available in the region from December 1, 2021, under the Intersatelital brand. According to the company, Fixed and Mobile Internet access services will also be integrated into the offer.
So far, the alliance has revealed six different pay TV and Internet plans, which have been divided into the “Double Play” and “Triple Play” categories, with the difference that the last one also includes a mobile plan. However, in both cases the DTH package remains the same: it offers 134 channels, of which 31 are HD signals. While with regard to the fixed Internet speed, the plans vary between 4 and 22 Mbps.
Finally, the Bolivian telco explained that in what corresponds to DTH subscribers, the bill will arrive through TUVES, while the other services will be in charge of Nuevatel. In addition, it explained that for each client, the company will install a Satellite Antenna, an LNB (Low Noise Block) device and up to three STBs per household.
