Viacom, Olympusat, Mediapro and Flow confirm release date for ‘Los Internacionales’

‘Los Internacionales’, a new Viacom International Studios (VIS), Olympusat, The Mediapro Studio and Flow co-production, will be released next Thursday, May 20th in Argentina through the FTA TV channel Telefe, and, on the next day, Thursday 21st, it will be fully available through the Flow platform, to be watched on demand. In addition, an official trailer for the series was released.

Starred by Argentine actress Cecilia Roth and Colombian actor Juan Pablo Shuk, ‘Los Internacionales’ is the first fictional police series set in the Argentine political and economic crisis, in 2001. Based on a true story about the journalistic novel ‘La conexion Bogota’, by Nahuel Gallotta,  the series focuses on the story of a gang of Colombian thieves who decide to travel to Argentina to implement a number of robberies. In 2001, many Argentines were forced to remove their savings and belongings from banks due to a deep political and economic crisis. ‘Los Internacionales’ takes advantage of the chaos to carry out its operations in departments and houses, making significant amounts of money and jewelry, and, this way, becoming a legend.

Filmed in Bogotá and Buenos Aires, the new production involved more than 200 professionals during 65 days. Apart from Cecilia Roth and Juan Pablo Shuk, who will be the prosecutor Marta Costas and Fausto, head of ‘Los Internacionales’’, other actors that make up the cast are Argentines Boy Olmi, Rafael Ferro and Gustavo Garzón, among others.
