Viacom International Studios (VIS) confirmed that the series Atrapa a un ladron, starred by Argentine actor Pablo Echarri and Spanish Alexandra Jimenez, and based on the movie To catch a thief, by Alfred Hitchcock, will premiere on the Argentine FTA TV channel Telefe and, after that, all its episodes will be available to watch them on demand and from any device on Cablevision Flow.

Antonio Alvarez, Programming and Content Director at Telecom Argentina, said that in the company they ‘aim to co-produce more high quality content, adding more complete series to our on demand catalog for our customers to enjoy them as binge watchings, anytime they want and from any device’. Regarding Atrapa a un ladron, he said that it is ‘an international series, that will undoubtedly be given the best reception by Argentine audiences’.
The 10-episode series, filmed in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Blanes and Tolosa de Mar -two municipalities located at the Costa Brava, in Spain, is focused on the story of Juan Robles, known as ‘El Gato’, a thief who intends to show a mysterious character who is changing its identity to commit crimes. El Gato and his wife -Lola Garay- love story will add even more intrigue to the plot. The series creation belongs to Javier Olivares.
