US broadcaster Viacom International Media Network (VIMN) for Latin America announced in a statement that it launched the Video On Demand (VOD) premium content package Nick First through the TV Everywhere platform of Pay-TV operator Megacable from Mexico, for no additional cost.
Nick First will offer special contents from children’s channel Nickelodeon programming exclusively for subscribers of Megacable Play (megacableplay.com) before their release on its linear Pay-TV signal. Some of these shows are School of Rock, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Ninja Turtles, Instant Mom, Sanjay & Craig and Breadwinners, among others.
“This alliance we do today with one of our strategic partners such as Megacable makes us pioneers in this area by offering this new product as an added value for all its subscribers. The Nickelodeon content we are offering today includes new series, new episodes and more than 80 premieres per year”, stated Senior Vice President and CEO of VIMN for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, Eduardo Lebrija.
