Crunchyroll, the largest anime platform worldwide, published data on anime viewing in July 2019. The company reported that, of the 200 countries and territories in which it is available, Uruguay is the country that lead its contents consumption that month.
In addition, Crunchyroll presented a list detailing the 10 countries that most consumed its contents in July. In addition to the leadership of Uruguay, the company placed the Dominican Republic in the third position, Colombia in the sixth, Peru in the seventh and El Salvador in tenth place. Crunchyroll did not report the number of subscribers that it country recorded in July.
Crunchyroll’s report also highlights that, in Latin America, the 10 most viewed titles in July were Attack on Titan; Black clover; Boruto: Naruto Next Generations; Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba; Dr. Stone; Hunter x Hunter; JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure; My Hero Academia; Naruto Shippuden and One Piece.
At the same time, Dr. Stone, which had its first edition last July 5th, had Uruguay as the world leader country in visualizations, followed by the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Panama and El Salvador, which took seventh to tenth place in contents visualizations. In addition, Puerto Rico ranked first in visualizations of the Japanese series Fire Force, which also had its first edition last July 5th.
