Cultural channel TV Unam, which belongs to the National University of Mexico, will be available soon on YouTube and iTunes platforms, informed to El Financiero newspaper TV Unam Director, Nicolás Alvarado.
With this goal in mind, the channel will renew its content offer from August looking to attract a younger audience, and will generate new TV programs for digital platforms.
“It is urgent to develop a digital platform to upload content and thus enter the digital revolution in audiovisual production. But first, what TV Unam has to do is rejuvenate itself in every way, in terms of its corporate image, logo, contents; as well as the platforms it uses”, admitted Alvarado.
TV Unam is a free-to-air channel that operates on the DTT platform in Mexico City. It is also available on Pay TV services.
