TV Azteca takes MX e-League matches to Mexican FTA TV

As reported by the Mexican newspaper Milenio on its web version, TV Azteca will take some matches from the MX eLeague to FTA TV. The competition began last Friday, April 10th and replicates the Liga MX Clausura Tournament , canceled due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. This is an EA Sports FIFA 2020 competition, played on Playstation 4. The e-sports tournament is also  broadcasts by TUDN, TUDN.com and its official application.

According to Milenio, TV Azteca will broadcast some of the matches of the competition, which is taking place between April 10th and June 7th, date in which the tournament’s 17 fixture dates will all be played. The Mexican company, always according to the already mentioned website, will air matches from  Atlas, Chivas, Morelia, Puebla, Xolos de Tijuana and Santos Laguna. In 2019, TV Azteca left Santos Laguna’s football matches broadcasts, as confirmed by the club through its social networks.

MX League clubs are represented by three players from each sports institution, who will compete in the tournament playing from their homes. Matches last 12 minutes (they take place in two blocks of six minutes each), with just over two minutes between them, according to the MX eLeague’s official website. After playing the 17 fixture dates, the eight best teams will face each other again in a direct elimination format. The champion team will receive a badge that accredits them as the e-Liga MX winner.
