TV Azteca launches new documentary on former Mexican football player Jorge Campos

TV Azteca announced it is premiering ‘Inmortal’, a new docu series that focuses on the life and history of former Mexican football player Jorge Campos. The content will be broadcast from this Wednesday, August 5th in an eight-episode weekly format, and can only be accessed through the TV Azteca Deportes website or through the app, available for download on iOS and Android devices.

As officially reported by Azteca Deportes, the first ‘Inmortal’ episodes was focused on the football player’s childhood, the activities he enjoyed doing and the people who were important in his first years of life. In addition, throughout the different chapters, interviews with his relatives and with people he has shared his time will also be shown.

Jorge Campos, also known as ‘El Brody’ or ‘El Inmortal’, served as a goalkeeper and striker in several Mexican football clubs, such as Atlante, Cruz Azul, Tigres and the Pumas UNAM. He also participated as a football player in the FIFA World Cups played in the US (1994); France (1998) and Korea & Japan (2002), in addition to other international competitions such as the Copa America, the Pan American Games (1999) and the Olympic Games (1996), and others.
