As reported by various specialized websites last December 18th, TV Azteca (Grupo Salinas) has recently announced the launch of Real Unscripted, an audience information prediction platform, as part of a strategic partnership with Vault Analytics (Vault AI). The platform is based on artificial intelligence and will be used by TV Azteca to evaluate the answer of its audiences to its unscripted content offer.
According to the information reported, while traditional audience research involves showing surveyed people a summary of a script or trailer, and gathering feedback through surveys or focus groups, the Vault method does not require surveys. By focusing on the main concepts and character profiles of each show, Vault AI predicts audience answers and composition, identifying and analyzing the historical performance of similar content.
The launch of the new platform takes place as part of a partnership agreement between TV Azteca and Vault Analytics, which started in April 2018, to combine technology and entertainment as an answer to changes in the entertainment industry globally.
