The AVOD OTT Tubi confirmed its launch in Mexico, scheduled for this year, in partnership with TV Azteca. As part of the agreement, TV Azteca will market advertising for Tubi in Mexico, and promote the OTT to its audience through its online platforms.
On the other hand, Tubi will partner with the TV manufacturer Hisense and its Vidaa platform, to be an exclusive smart TV partner in Mexico. This association means that Tubi will be preloaded and placed prominently on the Vidaa TV home page, with contents that are also listed on ‘Vidaa Free’, the free section of the platform, as well as its dedicated button as ‘free content’, which is located on the remote controls.
