This Monday, February 17th, the pay TV channel TNT will launch TNT Original, a segment in which it will broadcast its own productions with Hollywood standards, which can be watched in Latin America. The first film to be aired will be Plus One, a romantic comedy starring Jack Quaid and Maya Erskine. The TNT Original catalog will offer a new weekly film that will be released on Mondays on the TNT screen.
The TNT Original films are born from Particular Crowd, the Turner original movie banner recently launched, which has a 30 productions catalog available for different platforms and, this year, expects to add 60 new titles to it.
In ‘Plus One’, Ben and Alice (characters performed by Quaid and Erskine, respectively), run an agreement to attend a full wedding season in the same summer, celebrations that do nothing but remind them how alone they are: she, trying to forget a love that left wounds and him, looking for an opportunity to make an appointment into the guests. This way, they decide that it is better for them to go through these celebrations in tandem. Their agreement to always be companions or the ‘plus one’ of each other proves to be beneficial for both, while turning those moments into situations full of humor and spontaneity, since both share the natural chemistry of their long friendship.
Other titles that will be available soon on TNT Original include ‘Out of Blue’, ‘Old Boys’, ‘In a Relationship’, ‘Feedback’, ‘Deadtectives’, ‘Burn’, ‘An Acceptable Loss’, ‘ A Bad Idea Gone Wrong ‘, and others.
