Tigo will integrate the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform

Tigo (Millicom) will integrate and bill the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform for its postpaid mobile clients and TV and residential Internet subscribers (from 4 megas). The first subsidiary running the agreement is Tigo Guatemala.

Tigo’s customers will be able to take the service free for three months and, before this period, they will pay USD 3.23 in its monthly invoice during the next six months. Then, from month ten, the service will cost USD 6.34 monthly.

‘With Amazon Prime Video we are delivering added value to our customers. In Tigo we are going on innovating, so that TV and cinema fans can keep finding more home and mobile entertainment options. Together with Amazon we offer series, movies and exclusive content   to subscribers, only available in Amazon Prime Video’, explained Marvin Martínez, Tigo Guatemala B2C Director.

On the other hand,  Tim Leslie, Amazon Prime Video International Vice Presidente, expressed his commitment to “offer an excellent streaming service to regional Prime Video clients, and to expand our proposal with Tigo makes it easier for clients to start enjoying content by streaming’.
