Beginning this month, subscribers of The Cable in St. Kitts will be able to enjoy HBO’s award-winning content as part of their offering of channels. The Cable subscribers will now have direct access to thousands of HBO titles, including the eight seasons of the most acclaimed series of all-time Game of Thrones, hit series such as Westworld, The Sopranos, Chernobyl and Big Little Lies, as well as new series The Outsider and Avenues.  

Included in the agreement is the basic pay TV channel Cinemax, as well as Sony, AXN and Warner Channel, third-party channels that HBO Latin America licenses and distributes across the region. These channels will be available to all of The Cable’s customers as part of their basic package. Additionally, customers with a STB from The Cable will be able to enjoy a ‘4 pack’ of channels, including HBO, HBO Plus, HBO Signature and HBO Family.

‘At HBO, our commitment is to offer our subscribers the best entertainment experience and an elevated value to our cable operators and distributors’, said Javier Figueras, Corporate Vice President of Affiliate Relations at HBO Latin America. ‘In collaboration with The Cable, we will work to launch and expand digital access, giving consumers alternative, quicker, easier and more dynamic ways to watch our content’, he added.

From The Cable they have also expressed themselves on the agreement: ‘We are happy that we have been able to reach this agreement with HBO mere months after the launch of Ultra TV.  Being able to offer HBO premium-tier channels to our customers translates to significant value-added, as we can now satisfy their demands for movie channels,” remarked Patricia Walters, CEO of The Cable.  “Our customers will be further excited to know that more innovative HBO entertainment will be rolled out over the coming months,” she shared.

 The Cable will shortly determine the channel number for HBO and would make the appropriate announcement to customers.
