The Mexican entertainment giant, Televisa, launched its own streaming platform specialized in sports content, Blue To Go Sports, a few days ago. Although there has not yet been a statement or notice from the company, the service is already available in Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
For live competitions, including the Spanish soccer league, the Premier League, the Davis Cup and the North American ice hockey NHL, the platform uses the transmission rights acquired by Sky Satellite TV, the operator in which the company also relied to name its OTT, based on the Blue To Go Video Everywhere service.
Until now, the only official confirmation was through social media, where journalists from the sports channel TUDN announced the arrival of the service in Latin America. Currently, the platform allows access from mobile devices and through the web, but according to its site, it will soon be enabled for Smart TVs.
