After officially launching the Univision channel in Latin America, Televisa reported that it will add 50 of its newest titles to Singapore’s Vuulr platform. Some of the confirmed productions are ‘La usurpadora’, ‘Cuna de lobos’, ‘Rubi’, ‘El Dragón’, ‘La Rosa de Guadalupe’, and others.
The agreement between the two companies is based on the global expansion of Vuulr, which launched internationally in January. The platform allows both buyers and distributors to access its diverse catalog 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in the world, reducing the time and costs involved in physical meetings and attendance at audiovisual markets to end acquisition plans.
‘This agreement with Televisa establishes the beginning of a strong partnership with one of the largest media companies in Latin America, as we continue our mission to transform the distribution and licensing of content in the film and TV ecosystem. We are delighted to showcase this engaging catalog of soap operas at Vuulr, generating new revenue opportunities for our global community of buyers’, said Natasha Malhotra, Chief Content And Commercial Officer at Vuulr.
