Telefonica Media Networks markets Canal J’s advertising in Peru

Telefonica Media Networks, through its ad sales division, announced that it will represent and market Canal J’s sales, a Jockey Plaza TV channel with lifestyle content aimed at women, in Peru. Born in 2014, the channel is available on Movistar TV (channel 23) and Claro TV (channel 5 and channel 506 HD).

Canal J programming is focused on content based on four main pillars: home, fashion and trends, culture and well-being. Some of the most representative programs that make up the channel grid are Los Food Truckers,  Autenticas, Modo Moda, YOY, Inspirate, Art Box and Perfiles.

‘We are very excited to add Canall J into our TV channels portfolio. This is an offer made of high-quality Peruvian production, very attractive to Peruvian advertisers, which strengthens our portfolio’, said Javier Patron, Ad Sales Commercial Manager at Telefónica Media Networks.

Juan Scavia, Canal J’s Manager, also expressed himself on the agreement and said that ‘having Telefonica Media Networks as a strategic partner to boost advertising sales will result in the growth of Canal J’.

Media Networks markets pay TV advertising on Movistar Deportes, Movistar Plus, Movistar Music, Movistar Series; and it also represents the NBCUniversal, AMC Networks, Thema (Kanal D Drama) and ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZeeMundo) groups in Peru.
