According to sources from Telecom Argentina, the company started offering access to the Flow platform to its Fibertel clients (its internet service) through Flow Now, starting this month. Before this launch, Flow was only available to customers of Telecom’s cable TV service, as a TV Everywhere platform.
As reported by Telecom Argentina, Flow Now does not need to be installed or requires a STB, since it is used through an application, which is downloaded on the devices used by clients. Regarding the available content, Telecom reported that Flow Now ‘includes all traditional TV channels, exclusive and on demand content, and adds outstanding features to enjoy from cell phones, tablets, PCs and smart TVs, at any time and place wanted’.
The application can be used by up to two users simultaneously. Likewise, Flow Now allows access to live TV and on demand content of series, movies, documentaries, gaming and music. Telecom Argentina said that it is possible to enjoy ‘more than 13 thousand hours of content on demand, including premiere films and more than 300 series’, such as co-productions and launches of Argentine and international films, thanks to agreements with production companies like BBC, Atresmedia, Sony, Disney, HBO and Fox. It also includes more than 100 HD channels available.
As part of its Q3 2020 quarterly results report presentation , Telecom Argentina reported a total of 3.6 million pay TV subscribers (offered through the Cablevision pay TV operator), and 1,170 million Flow Boxes distributed. Also, starting today, Flow, Cablevision and Personal customers will be able to access Disney+, which is officially launching today in Latin America.
