Argentine pay TV operator Telecentro announced it has already added the Amazon Prime Video app into its STBs. The app is available for its clients to access from June 1st, for a AR$ 219 (USD 3) monthly subscription. The catalog consists of exclusive original Amazon content, movies, series, and others.
On its help center, Telecentro reports that subscribers who wish to access Prime Video must previously have an active Prime Video subscription available, since the operator will not offer the subscription to the platform.
Telecentro customers will be able to access the Amazon Prime Video app from the home screens of their devices through the ‘Applications’ section; through the electronic programming guide, or by clicking on the Amazon Prime Video button, available on selected Telecentro remote controls. The same account allows up to three sessions at the same time. In addition, the operator clarifies that, up to now, STBs compatible with Amazon Prime Video are those that belong to the DCIW 362 model.
‘This partnership with Amazon Prime Video is the result of the focus that Telecentro has been recently building in terms of innovation, with the aim of enriching the customer experience with our services’, said Silvina Pierri, Shareholder of Telecentro.
