Uruguayan pay TV operator TCC announced this month the launch of ‘Tienda Hogar’, an online product store through which it aims to offer market products. As reported by the operator, it is an ecommerce platform that offers technology, TV and audio products, as well as a wider range, which includes household appliances, and products for babies and personal care, and others.
Users can buy the products in the catalog through credit cards, and receive them at home. The platform was created with the aim of expanding TCC customer’s benefits, although it is also available to those who are not clients of the operator. ‘We offer options of products for households that are usually bought in other traditional stores. Based on the knowledge we have of our clients, we aim to give them offers in areas related to comfort and technology’, said David Silva, TCC’s Commercial and Marketing Manager. Currently, the online store makes a 10% discount on the price of all products. ‘TCC customers will get special benefits that we will be announcing soon’, said Nicolas Vargas, Head of Tienda Hogar.
Regarding the new launch, Silva explained that at TCC ‘for years, we have been offering services for our clients’ households, under the slogan ‘TCC Hogar’. We have been in the pay TV content distribution market for 25 years, to which we have added various services for households. Our closeness, attention and quality of service are values that customers regularly recognize us, and we want to show it in this new line too’, Silva concluded.
