Totalplay, a Salinas Group company who leads the telecommunications market in Mexico, announced that, from this month on, StarzPlay, Starz premium OTT (Lionsgate), will be integrated into its entertainment platform. With this partnership, one million Mexican pay TV subscribers will be able to access StarzPlay’s contents through Totalplay with their remote control, through the service applications menu, for MX$ 89 (USD 4.5) per month.
Apart from Mexico, StarzPlay is available in other 45 countries and has an exclusive series and films catalog, such as new suspense series Mr. Mercedes and Castle Rock, written by Stephen King, The Act, starred by the Oscar-winning Patricia Arquette, and Pennyworth (DC Comics), close to be released, which focuses on the story of Alfred Pennyworth, Batman’s butler and trusted man.
In addition, Totalplay subscribers who hire StarzPlay can enjoy Starz new original series broadcasts, simultaneously with their premiere in the US. Some of them are the criminal drama Dublin Murders, the series Vida, which focuses on Los Angeles latin culture, and The Spanish Princess, drama aimed to tell Carolina de Monaco’s childhood, first Henry VIII wife.
