STARZPLAY, STARZ’s streaming service, continues to expand in Latin America after having reached two new agreements with operators in the region. First, DIRECTV integrated the OTT to its DIRECTV Go platform in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Mexico. But also, Claro incorporated the app into its Claro Video catalogue, available to the Mexican public.
From now on, users in the region will be able to access exclusive content from the premium brand, including original productions in Spanish, with the possibility of connecting up to five devices and using the platform on two of them simultaneously. In the case of DirecTV, subscribers may contract STARZPLAY under the add-on mode, at a price of between USD 2 and USD 5 per month, depending on each country. Meanwhile, Claro will offer it in the same way at a monthly value of USD 4.30, in addition to giving away a free trial week.
‟We look forward to strengthening our relationship with Mexican viewers through Claro video, which shares our commitment to provide audiences with exceptional content paired with a premium user experience”, Superna Kalle, president of Starz International Networks, said about the agreement with the Mexican service.
