Samsung Electronics and Telefonica announced the OTT Movistar Play will be added to the apps portfolio available on Samsung smart TVs interface. The app will be available on all models made from 2016.

Movistar Play offers various live TV channels and a VOD content catalog with more than 10 thousand titles, including movies, series, documentaries and children’s content. The possibility of renting movies is also contemplated. In the Movistar Play content offer, original Movistar series are included, such as El embarcadero, Arde Madrid, Gigantes and Un dia eres joven, with their full seasons available. The premieres of the series Vida perfecta, El dia de mi suerte, Ruido Capital and Merlí: Sapere Aude will also be added.

Movistar Play is Telefonica’s VOD OTT in Latin America. It is available in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay for all Movistar customers who have at least one internet, mobile phone and / or pay TV service.
