RTVE and the film producer and distributor Wanda Vision, also from Spain, are working together in the fiction series El Invitado, in co-production with Argentine producer Anima Films. The project, based on an original Matias Gueilburt’s idea, founder of Anima Films, will last eight episodes and will be released on the Spanish channel.
‘It is a great motivation for us that RTVE is interested in our original idea and a huge challenge to develop El Invitado, together with this important multimedia and the Spanish production company Wanda Films talented team’, said Julian Rousso, President of Anima Films.
El Invitado’s plot will focus on how the Nazi leaders who escaped from Germany in submarines at the end of World War II tried to push a fourth Reich from a town in the Argentine Patagonia. The project’s scripts belong to the Argentines Nicolás Gueilburt and Sergio Olguín, and the Spanish playwright Carlos Contreras Elvira.
‘I have participated as a producer in more than 15 films in Argentina and I am very excited to co-develop now, together with RTVE and the prestigious producer Ánima, the series El Invitado’, said Jose Maria Morales, President of Wanda Films.
