Viacom International Studios (VIS) ran an agreement with Univisión to broadcast the reality show ‘Resistire’ through UniMás. The partnership means the arrival of the reality in the US Hispanic market, after its broadcast in Chile with Mega, in Mexico by Azteca 7 and in Latin America and Spain with MTV.
‘The arrival of Resistire to US Hispanic market through Univisión shows the VIS efforts in developing and producing quality content, which exceeds borders and arrives at the main markets’, said Guillermo Borensztein, VP of Content Sales and Co-productions at VIS Americas. “The result of the joint work with MTV, Mega and Azteca allows this project to continue conquering territories, based on an ambitious production and an innovative point of view when addressing gender,” he added.
Resiste is part of UniMas programming grid since last September 24th, and will last 95 episodes. The reality show, filmed in Chile, brings together 24 participants selected from castings in Latin America and Europe. They must survive week after week in the Andes without food, water and a place to live, and with no communication possibilities, but with half a million dollars cash.
