Pluto TV launches its Latin version in the US

The OTT Pluto TV officially launched the Pluto TV Latino AVOD platform, which offers a variety of channels in Spanish and Portuguese focused on the US Hispanic market. News had been confirmed days ago by Bob Bakish, Viacom’s Executive President, who also informed that the platform will arrive at Latin America at the beginning of 2020.

Pluto TV Latino shows 11 channels in Spanish and Portuguese, aimed at Hispanic audiences looking for premium entertainment programming. The offer’s The main contents are focused on movies, comedy, music, reality shows, sports and soap operas, into others. It is estimated that the platform has a 2 thousand hours content catalog. Some of the channels available on it are Telemundo Telenovelas Clasicas, MTV Latino, Comedy Central Latino, Pluto TV Brazil and Lucha Libre. The launching of additional channels is expected soon, with new topics.

Ezequiel Fonseca Zas, SVP Multiplatform Strategy & Marketing at Viacom International Media Networks, will attend the Sportv Series Latin America event, which will take place next October 2nd at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, US. He will also be one of the speakers at the Nextv CEO Latin America event, which will take place on November 5th and 6th at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Miami. Both events will be organized by Dataxis.
