Streaming media platform Plex has recently announced the addition of 16 new free-to-watch Spanish-language channels to Live TV, its free TV channels offer. This way, according to the information that was reported, nearly 100 channels of myriad genres are available to be enjoyed in the region for free, with no registration or subscription required.
The announcement of new free-to-stream Spanish-language channels across the Americas follows the recent announcement of Spanish-language content on Plex for US users. ‘Offering a quality set of local language channels to a more global audience is a great next step, and we’re looking to deepen our international presence with more non-English movies, TV shows, and entertainment’, reported Shawn Eldridge, VP of Strategic Alliances and Content at Plex.
Channels launched in Latin America features titles from several content producers, including Olympusat, Euronews, Shoreline Entertainment, and America’s Funniest Home Videos (AFV). Titles available feature content based on telenovelas, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, news, video games, movies, TV series, and more. Although the Live TV offer was already available in Latin America, it only offered a catalog with content in English.
