Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) appointed Pierluigi Gazzolo as new President of the company’s  OTT International division and Viacom International Studios (VIS), while Juan ‘JC’ Acosta, the company’s Executive VP and COO, will serve as President at VIMN Americas. New job positions will be valid from January 3rd, 2020, and both executives will report to David Lynn, President and CEO at VIMN.

Gazzolo will lead the Pluto TV launch in the international market, starting with Latin America, where it will be launched in 2020. Apart from that, he will establish the D2C products together with distributors, and will be responsible for creating an integrated operation for Viacom International Studios, leading the  original content creation for ViacomCBS. This new structure will allow the company to accelerate the creation of original content on international markets.

In addition, Juan ‘JC’ Acosta, VIMN Americas VPE and COO, will be responsible for VIMN operations for Latin America, which include Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, together with Canada and the US Hispanic market. He will be responsible for the expansion of the VIMN catalog and products in the region, including its cross-platform business, global studios and distribution and licensing efforts for content and TV channels (MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Paramount Channel and Telefe) and the digital catalog (including Porta Dos Fundos).
