Brazilian on-demand channel Philos (Globosat) will add 20 new productions to its catalog in February. The segment “Povos&Culturas” (“Peoples & Cultures”) will incorporate 10 new documentaries, while the series “Decisões que mudaram o mundo” (“Decisions that changed the world”) will offer six episodes on the facts that marked the world history.
In the new series “Erdoğan: A criação de um sultão” the audience will meet the president who represents Turkish authoritarianism. In turn, “Os seguidores de Hitler” will present the men behind the regime of the most influential leader of the twentieth century. In addition, programa “Versalhes – Reis, Rainhas e Presidentes” will show the secrets of the palace that still stands for splendor and power.
In the segment, “Povos&Culturas” Philos highlights the premiere of “China: O choro prohibido” and “Ensino Superior: A nova guerra econômica global”. The segment “Arte&Música”will offer the production “E a mulher criou Hollywood”. The channel will also have two jazz releases: “Kurt Elling Quartet” and “Nat King Cole: A Esperança Nas Trevas”.
Philos is an online channel available in the VOD services of operators Net and Vivo, and through its website and mobile apps for R$ 21.90 (USD 7) per month.
