Peacock early preview begins on Xfinity X1 and Flex in the US

As confirmed earlier this year, Comcast is launching today a preview of the premium tear of Peacock, NBCUniversal’s AVOD OTT, which will be available at not additional cost for Xfinity X1 and Flex customers in the US. Latin American launching date has not been reported yet.

The preview will be followed by the national launch in the country, scheduled for next July 15th, which includes a free tier featuring more than 7,500 hours of movies and shows that will be accessible across mobile, web and popular connected-TV platforms. At this time, Peacock Premium will also be available for USD 4.99 per month on all popular connected devices, as well as an ad-free tier for an additional USD 5.00 per month (USD 9.99 in total).

Dana Strong, President of Xfinity Customer Services at Comcast, expressed herself on the Peacock Premium launch: ‘Offering Peacock Premium at no additional cost, seamlessly integrated on Xfinity X1 and Flex is another example of our commitment to provide more value, content and choice to customers’, the Executive said.

Peacock Premium features more than 15,000 hours of current TV shows and classic favorites like Law & Order: SVU, 30 Rock and Friday Night Lights, popular movies like Jurassic Park, E.T. and Ray, and kids programming like Curious George and original animated series Where’s Waldo? and Cleopatra in Space from DreamWorks Animation. Peacock also features timely live and on-demand content across news, sports, realities and late night, which kicks off with exclusive early access to content from Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show: At Home Edition and Late Night with Seth Meyers, prior to their linear telecasts, 

Content in Spanish is also included, featuring La Doña, Noticiero Telemundo and 100 Días para Enamorarnos, apart from   Betty En NY, Preso No. 1, Al Otro Lado Del Muro, Santa Diabla, El Chema, El Baron, Caso Cerrado, Corazon Valiente, ¿Donde Esta Elisa?, El Rostro De La Venganza, Guerra De Ídolos, Mi Familia Perfecta, Perro Amor, Quien Es Quien, Reina De Corazones, Relaciones Peligrosas, and others.
