Particular Crowd, Warner Media Latin America’s new films brand, launches more than 100 of its own films during its first year

Particular Crowd, WarnerMedia Latin America’s new original films brand,  has announced that it has launched more than 100 of its own films during its first year of operations. The initiative was launched last year, as part of WarnerMedia Latin America’s expansion towards the production of original and exclusive content for its brands in the region.

‘We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved over the past year and how well audiences reacted to our content. However, this is only the beginning. We cannot wait to bring the growing portfolio of Particular Crowd to our various platforms in the region, including the local films we have worked on in recent months’, reported Peter Bevan, Head at Particular Crowd. ‘We will also announce new initiatives to support filmmakers and emerging talents from Latin America, as happened with Felipe Mucci (Brazil) and Alberto Belli (Mexico), with whom we were delighted to work and give the green light to their first feature films last year’ added the executive.

During this month, Particular Crowd plans to launch the movie ‘Possessor’ in Mexican movie theaters. In addition, in March the film ‘Twist’ will be available in movie theaters in Latin America. ‘Twist’ is the first film from the ‘HBO Latin America Movies’ brand, which will broadcast original films that will be available throughout Latin America through HBO and HBO GO, and will premiere more local movies on various WarnerMedia platforms. HBO Latin America Movies films will be produced by Particular Crowd.

Particular Crowd films are produced in English, Spanish or Portuguese and include various genres, such as comedy, romantic comedy, horror, suspense, and movies for teens and for the whole family. Based in Los Angeles and Buenos Aires, Particular Crowd reaches film development, production and co-financing, and has partnered with several leading production companies to create content.
