The final panel that will take place on the first day of the Nextv Sport Latin America’s second virtual edition is called ‘OTT Strategies for Teams’, and is scheduled for next Tuesday, May 4th between 12:30 PM and 1:20 PM (CDMX). Registration for this and the rest of the Dataxis-held conference’s panels can be done here.
Industry executives specially gathered by Dataxis to star in the panel discussion will be Roberto Martinez, Head of Marketing and Communications at Racing Club (Argentina); Jose Amorin, CEO at Poipes; Felipe Ribbe de Vasconcellos, Head of Innovation at Club Atletico Mineiro (Brazil); and Fernando Ibargüen, Marketing Director at Bolivar Club (Bolivia). Some of the main topics to be developed during the panel discussion will focus on OTTs for teams and OTTs for leagues; new alternative content for fans; additional value for sponsorship; and whether it is worth investing in a team OTT without matches broadcasting rights, and other related issues.
Following the success of its first virtual edition in 2020, Nextv Sport Latin America 2021 will bring together the top executives making live sports broadcasting happen in a region that is home to some of the world’s most passionate fans. Recent changes in sports broadcasting consumption trends, which have been accelerated by the Covid pandemic, have forced rights owners, leagues, teams, TV networks and sports streaming services to reassess their short, medium and long-term strategy. Nextv Sport Latin America 2021 will take place on Tuesday, May 4th and Wednesday, May 5th, from 9:00 AM (CDMX) on both days. The event will be sponsored by Accedo, Kaltura, WSC Sports, Bitmovin and Ross.
Registration for the Nextv Sport Latin America’s virtual edition is free for Latin American pay TV operators; FTA broadcasters; sports TV channels, OTT platforms, leagues, teams and associations, and telecom operators.
