OTT Lets launches in Brazil

The OTT Lets, presented as the first ‘genuinely Brazilian’, was launched this week in Brasilia. Its offer includes more than 2 thousand titles catalog between series, films, animations and documentaries, from studios such as Warner, Disney, Universal, MGM, Paramount, Lionsgate, and others.The OTT monthly subscription costs R $ 16.90 (USD 4).

Sandro Virgolino (CTO) and Paulo Echebarria (CEO), founders of Lets, reported that they intend to venture into the original Brazilian content production, with the aim of creating an audiovisual pole in Brasilia, in order to turn it into the ‘Brazilian Hollywood’.

Lets will also have a 24-hour linear news channel, targeted advertising for users and a chat, which allows its subscribers to talk to their contacts network while watching a movie. ‘That allows subscribers to talk to several people about the content they are accessing’, explains Virgolino. In addition, the platform allows to upload self owned contents and tools to generate  advertising and campaigns.
