Spanish distributor Onza Distribution announced an agreement with Movistar to distribute the series it has produced in Latin America, internationally. Up to now, Movistar has launched four original series in the region, made in Peru, Colombia and Argentina.
Movistar announced in 2019 a production plan for original series in several Latin American countries and, until now, premiered the Peruvian ones ‘Un dia eres joven’ and ‘El dia de mi suerte’; the Colombian ‘Ruido Capital’ and the Argentine ‘Manual de Supervivencia’. The four series will be marketed internationally as ‘Adulting’; ‘My lucky day’; ‘Capital Roar’ and ‘Survival Guide’, respectively. All of them will be distributed in the international market by Onza Distribution, not including Latin America, where they will continue to be exclusive from Movistar Play.
The agreement will start being implemented this month with MipChina, an event that will take place virtually between July 28th and July 31st, where Onza will show the series. Apart from Colombia, Peru and Argentina, Movistar announced last year that it will produce original series in Chile and Mexico as well.
