OneFootball’s app and website, focused on sports news and results monitoring, announced on September 30th it has acquired the rights to broadcast the German Football League (Bundesliga) in several South American countries for free. The company made the announcement days after acquiring the rights also for Brazil.
With the news, the Bundesliga matches are available from the beginning of this month in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. In a first stage, it is possible to access the matches only through the application, although, in the future, OneFootball also plans to make them available on its website.
The agreement between OneFootball and the German Football League includes the broadcast of Bundesliga 1 and Bundesliga 2. In addition to OneFootball, Claro Sports recently announced it has added the competition as part of its content catalog for Latin America. In addition, Sky is broadcasting the tournament in Mexico and Central American countries.
