Cable TV operator Nuevo Siglo from Uruguay announced that it re-launched its TV Everywhere platform NS Now and reached a trade agreement with US programmer HBO to add its Video On Demand (VOD) content.
NS Now is available for all of Nuevo Siglo’s customers since June 2014. It is a hybrid platform that can be accessed from TV screens through a set-top box (STB) or from any device connected to the internet. It now has a new design and enhanced interactivity.
It has free contents, others on a monthly subscription base and some on Pay-Per-View (PPV), usually premiere movies. It also gathers the TV Everywhere platforms ESPN Play, Fox Play, Fox+ Play, Fox Sports Play, Moviecity Play, Space Go, Cartoon Network Go!, TNT Go, Turner, Canal Sony Plus, E! Now, History Play, Hot Go, NS TV and, now, HBO Go.
“The integration of HBO to our NS Now platform allows us to significantly increase our On Demand content. We are bringing our customers innovative products that maximize the experience in front of the TV”, stated the General Manager of Nuevo Siglo, Andres Ham, quoted by website todotvnews.com.
