ViacomCBS announced that Noggin, Noggin, Nick Jr. Latin America’s interactive learning SVOD OTT for preschoolers, is now available through Apple TV channels on the Apple TV app in Latin America. From this last July 21st, customers can sign up for a seven-day free trial and subscribe directly to Noggin on the Apple TV app for USD 2.99 per month (exact price will vary by market).
Noggin subscribers can watch online or download long- and short-form Nick Jr. content, featuring shows like ‘PAW Patrol’, ‘Dora the Explorer’, ‘Shimmer and Shine’, ‘Blaze and the Monster Machines’, ‘The Wonder Pets!’, ‘Garden Academy’, and more in Spanish and Portuguese on the Apple TV app. Through the ‘Family Sharing’ functionality, up to six family members can share subscriptions to Apple TV channels using just their Apple ID and password.
‘We are extremely excited to offer Noggin through Apple TV channels in Latin America’, commented Rita Herring, SVP of Content Distribution Management for ViacomCBS Networks Americas. ‘This launch further reinforces our international streaming strategy, and offers parents and their preschoolers even more opportunities to connect with Noggin’s premium edutainment offering’, she added.
Last January, Nickelodeon Latin America announced the launch of a new Noggin version in the region, with a new interface, new sections, new educational games, and other news. That time, Nickelodeon had announced it planned to launch Noggin in e-books, Android TV, and Roku, as well as its intention to include preschool content without the need for an internet connection.
The Apple TV app is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, and Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices. The Apple TV app also features Apple TV+, Apple’s new SVOD OTT, officially launched last year in the US.
