Nextv Series South America to include special session on the consumer experience in South America with Claro Colombia and Nagra this Thursday

As part of the panel’s agenda scheduled for Day 2 of Nextv Series South America, Dataxis will hold a special session, which will be called ‘The evolution of the consumer experience in South America’. The panel will take place between 12:00 PM and 12:20 PM (ART). Registration for this session and the rest of the conference panels can be done here.

The focus of the special session will be the NAGRA OpenTV video platform, which allows Claro Colombia (America Movil) to exceed consumer’s expectations and position itself as the main aggregator of all digital entertainment. Industry executives gathered by Dataxis to star in the discussion will be Juan Carlos Urrego, Leader of Massive Products Innovation at Claro Colombia; and Raul Lucas, Senior Director, Key Accounts Americas at Nagra.

Some of the main topics to be discussed and developed during the session will focus on the aggregation of all video entertainment services under a single UI; the new Claro Box TV -an Android TV STB with advanced video functionality-; multiscreen support, personalized UI and remote control voice assistant; carrier billing arrangements for third-party OTT integration; and other related issues.

As an expanded version of the prestigious Nextv Argentina event, Nextv Series South America will bring together in a friendly virtual format the leading pay TV operators, TV networks, FTA broadcasters, OTT platforms, content owners, telcos and ISPs from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. They will meet around a series of strategy panels to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities surrounding the generation, distribution and commercialization of TV content to audiences that are demanding ever more sophisticated ways to access their favorite live and on-demand programming.
