The panels that will officially inaugurate the event’s agenda will focus on the new strategies implemented by FTA broadcasters going OTT, and the integration of OTT and D2C in pay TV. The first panel of the event is called ‘FTA broadcasters going OTT: new strategies’, and will feature executives from Grupo Globo, Record TV, Vibra Digital (Bandeirantes Media Group) and Bitmovin. The main topic to be discussed will focus on SVOD, freemium and AVOD alternatives; catch up and VOD library monetization; and FTA broadcasters as OTT integrators.
‘OTT and D2C Integration in Pay TV’, the second panel of Nextv Series Bra<il, will take place between 10:30 and 11:20 AM (BRT), and will be developed with executives from Claro Brasil; Crunchyroll and Playboy do Brasil. The key topics to be debated will be focused on OTT and D2C premium channels; add-on, carrier billing and partnership models; and on the main challenges and barriers for STB app integration.
The new edition of Nextv Brazil will feature a total of seven virtual panels to discuss the most relevant topics of the industry in the country, and will take place on December 9th, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (BRT).
