New Apple TV app is now available in more than 100 countries

After announcing the launch of its OTT, Apple stated that the new Apple TV app is now available, and brings together all the ways of watching television in one place. The offer is available in more than 100 countries and can be accessed through an  iPhone, iPad and some Samsung Smart TVs, according to the company. 

With the free  update of the software iOS 12.3 and tvOS 12.3, Apple customers around the world can subscribe to Apple TV channels within  application, paying only the content they want, and watch on demand content directly in the application. In the US, Apple TV channels include HBO, Starz, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, Epix, Tastemade and MTV Hits, and others that will be added soon to the catalog. Apart from that, through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share subscriptions to Apple TV channels using only their Apple username and password. Subscribers can watch and download online and offline programs and movies, making the Apple TV application the first and only place where HBO subscribers can download movies and shows to watch offline.

Apple customers around the world can also enjoy programs and movies personalized recommendations from more than 150 video applications and streaming services, and more than 100 thousand movies and TV shows from iTunes, including the largest 4K HDR titles  collection available to browse, buy or rent. The Watch Now section introduces Up Next, where subscribers can find their favourite content with synchronized activity on all devices, as well as explore collections organized by experts, based on a secure and complete understanding of the customers watching interests.
