Netflix to release new Argentine production in May

Netflix launched the trailer for ‘Casi Feliz’, its new Argentine production, which will be released on May 1st and will last 10 episodes. The series was one of those announced during an event held in Buenos Aires in February, in which Reed Hastings, CEO of the company, reported the launch of new Argentine productions on the platform.

‘Casi Feliz’ is a semi-biographical comedy in which the comedian and radio presenter Sebastian, played by the Argentine actor Sebastian Wainraich, faces many problems related with his adult life. Sebastian gets a difficult relationship with his ex-wife, who is, at the same time, the love of his life, played by Natalie Perez, and has a long list of insecurities, which prevent him from finding happiness in his almost perfect life.

The series is produced by HC Films and Tiger House; created by Hernan Guerschuny and Wainraich, directed by Guerschuny and written by Wainraich. Pablo Udenio and Alejandro De Grazia are project’s executive producers. ‘Casi Feliz’ is part of the list of original series that Netflix is ​​producing in Argentina. Some of the already released ones are ‘Puerta 7’ and ‘Apache: la vida de Carlos Tevez’, together with other upcoming releases. In addition, Netflix recently announced through a video that it will open offices in Buenos Aires.
