NBCUniversal International Networks & DTC Latin America (NBCU & DTC) and ViacomCBS Networks Americas reached an agreement to represent the advertising sales of their open TV channels, pay TV, and their respective streaming platforms. In this way, advertisers will be able to have a greater reach and provide better service, according to the companies.
The signals from MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Paramount Network and Comedy Central will be included in the contract by ViacomCBS Networks Americas. On the other hand, NBC Universal will include UniversalTV, Studio Universal, SYFY, E! Entertainment and Telemundo Internacional. As detailed in the released statement, the agreement does not include Pluto TV.
While NBCU will be in charge of advertising sales in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Pan-regional, Peru, Dominican Republic and Venezuela; ViacomCBS will be responsible for the operation in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
