With the advance of the Coronavirus, Movistar Chile announced today a set of measures aimed at keeping its clients connected. This way, the company reported that, among other initiatives, it will provide more speed for its Movistar Fibra clients and a greater amount of content available on the Movistar Play platform.
According to the official announcement, Movistar Fibra (FTTH) clients throughout Chile will benefit themselves from an increase of up to 100% in internet speed at no additional cost. ‘We understand the importance of having a robust internet today that allows us to be connected to our jobs and to be able to study remotely. For this reason, we increased the speed of our Movistar Fibra, a product that combines the best technology, quality and stability available, together with the possibility of connecting many devices at the same time’, they explained from Movistar Chile. This benefit will be available until March 31st.
In addition, until that same day, the Movistar Play platform, which is free for Movistar Chile customers, will have more content available. As detailed from the company, it will be possible to access them from smartphones, tablets, PCs and Smart TVs. The benefit considers a significant increase in the number of children’s and news channels, together very varied content, which is added to series and movies. All these at no additional cost to Movistar Chile customers for mobile, broadband and fixed telephony plans.
