Movistar Argentina announced that Marcelo Tarakdjian will become the company’s new CEO, starting next February 1st, 2020, a position he currently holds in Uruguay. This way, Federico Rava will focus his management on the chairmanship of the Board of Directors, an activity he had already been developing.
‘The aim of this new structure is to consolidate the company as a leading communications actor in Argentina, where it has been operating for 29 years’, they said from the company in a statement. ‘With this new organizational structure, Movistar Argentina takes a new impulse in the local market and generates the necessary conditions to anticipate itself and manage an increasingly strict customer demand supported, into other factors, in the most developed fiber optic network’, they added.
Up to now, Tarakdjian has held different positions in commercial areas since joining Movistar, and currently serves as CEO of the company’s operations in Uruguay since February 2016.
